Plan around the job this sign needs to do
Map the viewer’s position and the time they have to read the screen. Keep the content hierarchy, orientation, surrounding light, power, network connection, and update responsibility in the brief.
Decisions that shape the result
- Lobby and reception displays
- Customer information screens
- Portrait and landscape display layouts
A planning note for Blythewood
For a property that may add rooms, tenants, or destinations later, discuss how names and panels can change. Plan the artwork system so updates do not require redesigning every piece.
Bring the site and design together
Provide building or site photos, the available sign space, and the message your audience should notice first. Identify existing structures or signs that may be reused or replaced. Your quote should describe the sign, installation scope, artwork status, and desired schedule as one project.
